Chicken Invaders: Cluck of the Dark Side
Planets are astronomical objects orbiting a star. In First Game, only Earth appears and in The Next Wave all the other 8 Solar System planets are introduced. In Chicken Invaders: Cluck of the Dark Side the player can finally enter them.
It's in Solar System, and near it in game there are Space Burgers.
Five times Chickens try to take over, or destroy Earth, but the Hero every time defeated them and it saved once more. On Chicken Invaders: Cluck of the Dark Side the Hero is entering surface of planet for the first time.
Other Solar System planets
In Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave it's interpretated as a planet, but now as of 2006 it's a Dwarf Planet.
Only appeared in The Next Wave. It's the easiest planet in the game.
It's the eight and most farthest Planet (not Dwarf Planets) from the Sun.
Only appeared in The Next Wave. The difficulty steps up a bit then in Pluto.
It's seventh Planet from the Sun and it rotates on it's side, tilted 98 degrees, sort of tidally locked with the Sun, daytime and nighttime is typically half a Uranian year.Only appeared in The Next Wave. It's the 3rd chapter and it's harder than the farthest 2 planets.
It's sixth Planet from the Sun and is known for it's beautifully known large thick rings, unlike the other outer planet's thin rings. It might be an asteroid or planet entering it's Roche limit during the formation of the Solar System, leaving the planet's debris as thick rings
It's fifth Planet from the Sun and also the largest one. Jupiter has more mass than all of the other planets combined, but is about 99 times less massive (by weight) than the Sun.Only appeared in The Next Wave. It's the 5th chapter in the game and is harder than Saturn.
It's fourth Planet from the Sun. It's red color comes from the iron on the planet's surface rusting and is the next astronomical object to be discovered by humans.Only appeared in The Next Wave. It is the 7th chapter in the game.
It's second Planet from the Sun and is the hottest despite the distance from the Sun compared to Mercury. This is because of it's thick atmosphere comprising of CO2 (carbon dioxide) and it's surface filled with sulphuric acid.Only appeared in The Next Wave, and it's the 9th chapter in the game.
It's first Planet from the Sun and also the smallest one, but slightly larger than Earth's Moon. It is the closest planet to the Sun, but has a small atmosphere or even none at all, limiting the temperature to below 450C at day and -170C at night.Only appeared in The Next Wave, and is the 10th and penultimate chapter of the game before fighting the Mother-Hen Ship.
Epsilon Thalassus appears in Chicken Invaders: Cluck of the Dark Side as one of the planets the Hero scorches through in the game.
This planet is mainly water (H2O), covering 98% of the surface, which comparing to Earth's 71% it's a lot! As you might have guessed by the photos, you may encounter jellyfishes and large squid tentacles alongside usual fighting with Chickens, which shows that this planet's life is very developed.
The reason our Hero visits it is because that the Blade of Revolution can be found there held by a big Jellyfish controlled by Chickens.
Gamma Chthon appears in Chicken Invaders: Cluck of the Dark Side as one of the planets the Hero scorches through in the game.
It is a rocky planet orbiting near it's star, albeit too close so it's scorching and the temperatures on it are very high. It also has a big system of underground tunnels with lots of priceless crystals, where you play in Chapter 6. There is a guardian that isn't working with the chickens, it's the Heart of Darkness controlling the crystals and guarding the Source of Power. It's pronounced by some fans as "Gamm-ma C-thon"
Eta Astropelecae]] appears in Chicken Invaders: Cluck of the Dark Side as one of the planets the Hero scorches through in the game.
It's a rocky planet covered in ice, where storms full of snow, icy rocks and thunders are common, and temperatures are very low. You go through here in Chapter 8. At the end of the chapter you fight with a strange chicken-shaped combination of ice rocks that works as a boss guarding the Thingamajig of Vagueness.
