Overview





Photon Swarm is a weapon introduced in Ultimate Omelette. This page describes the version seen in Chicken Invaders Universe.

Strategy[]

It fires blue, high-intensity swarms of photons capable of covering a broad area and homing in on enemies. As the power level increases, individual photons have a higher chance to be supercharged. When supercharged, photons will glow red, deal heavily boosted damage and have their homing capability improved.

Its Gift is unlocked from Tier 4.

Pros

  • High volume of fire.
  • Very efficient against bosses due to homing.
  • Low overheat.

Cons

  • Somewhat weak projectiles.
  • Fairly low damage.
  • Weighs a lot.

It's a member of the Nuclear group, so it has its weaknesses and strengths.

Like other weapons, the Photon Swarm exists as an item that can be bought either in the galactic shop or at Heroware stores. Its price in the galactic shop is 150 Key, and upgrades cost 4350 Key in total, with each one costing more than the previous one. Without upgrading, it weighs 250kg and uses up 195 KW of energy. After fully upgrading, it weighs 1,025kg and uses up 395 KW of energy.

  • This weapon has two different colors.
  • This is the only weapon that still works on negative firepower (⚡-1). It behaves like it does at ⚡0 in this case.
