Obtaining - When a special Chicken wearing a checkered shirt is killed. Doesn't always happen in the last chapter, where all Chickens wear it. Asteroids, UFOs, Comets, Chests, Rouge Missiles, Egg Ships, and certain bosses like the U.C.O.s also spawn them.
Reward - Different between variants. If you collect at least 90% of coins in a single wave, you will also receive the Distinguished Green Greed Cross Award.
Obtaining - Occasionally once any kind of Chicken/UFO Chicken/UFO Chick is killed. This time, they wear the same attire as a regular Chicken. Supernova Debris, Ice Comets, Eggs, Aliens, and certain bosses like the Giant Robotic Space Crabs also spawn them.

Variants:
In this game, the variants are identical to the ones in Revenge of the Yolk, however all of the coins are golden, only leaving their size as an indicator of how many points you will receive.

The model of the coins used since Revenge of the Yolk has been taken from Smileyville, another game made by InterAction studios.
The Coins were all made golden in Ultimate Omelette because all white projectiles are supposed to be deadly.
